大西洋公馆棚户区改造项目于4月1日正式开工建设，是延吉市第一个开工新建的大体量建筑工程工地，占地面积5.39万平方米，地上建筑面积12.8万平方米，地下建筑面积3.3万平方米。目前，工程进行到挖土、打垫层阶段，半个月后可以进入基础底板施工。

据了解，今年，延吉市计划实施5000万元以上项目72个，其中，新建项目39个，续建项目33个，总投资335.2亿元，年度计划投资60.3亿元。今年4月份，预计开工项目27个，其中，新建项目14个，续建项目13个，总投资109.2亿元。14个新建项目中，产业类项目7个、基础设施项目5个、社会民生项目2个。
