4月25日上午，石家庄地铁2号线一期工程启动空载试运行，距三季度通车载客运营的目标又近了一步。

地铁2号线是石家庄市轨道交通线网规划中的一条南北向骨干线路。一期工程由中国中铁投资建设，南起嘉华站，北至西古城站，线路长度15.5公里，设车站15座，分别是嘉华站、南位站、塔谈南站、塔谈站、石家庄站、东三教站、东岗头站、新世隆站、大戏院站、北国商城站、长安公园站、蓝天圣木站、运河桥站、铁道大学站、西古城站，全部为地下线。2号线一期工程贯穿城市南北，在北国商城站与1号线换乘，在石家庄站与3号线换乘，串联起西古城交通枢纽、中山路商圈、石家庄火车站等大客流点，是城市客运疏解的重要通道。

据了解，石家庄地铁2号线一期工程空载试运行于4月25日开始，计划7月23日结束，分为4个阶段，逐步调整驾驶模式、运营时间、列车频次、行车间隔等，直至调整到常态化的运营模式。

2号线一期工程配属18列电客车，列车设计色彩明快，内部造型大气美观，车辆沿用国家标准a型车，列车采用6辆编组，总长约140米，其单节车长22.8米，车辆最宽处3.1米，最高运营速度为80公里/小时，采用接触网供电方式。
